ICC Press Release
Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that the accreditation process for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 is now open. Members of the media have until 17:00 Dubai time (GMT +4) on Friday, 5 September 2025, to submit their applications.
Accreditation is available for print media, websites, and non-rights-holding (NRH) TV and radio broadcasters through an online process. Preference will be given to journalists who have covered recent ICC events, including the Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, Women’s T20 World Cup 2023, and Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022. However, the ICC has clarified that previous attendance does not guarantee accreditation.
Applicants must provide the following documents:
- A recent colour headshot (passport-style)
- Letter of assignment/approval from their Editor or Commissioning Editor
- A valid passport, national ID, or driver’s license
- A sample of recent work, preferably from the latest ICC event attended
The ICC has also noted that accreditation will be assessed based on the applicant’s role, the media organisation they represent, and the media spaces available at venues.
Journalists requiring a visa support letter must include full passport details and the relevant Embassy or Consulate in their online application. Successful applicants will then receive a visa letter from the ICC.
As with previous ICC events, NRH camerapersons will be accredited, but only reporters will have access to venues on match days. To assist NRHs, all pre-match and post-match press conferences will be uploaded to the ICC’s Online Media Zone.
The ICC has stressed that any breach of the Terms and Conditions will result in accreditation being immediately revoked. For online applications, click the link here. And for ICC Media Zone, Click on Media Zone.
