South Africa pulled off a four-wicket win over India after successfully chasing a target of 359 in the second ODI, leveling the three-match series 1–1.

India posted 359 for 7 after centuries from Virat Kohli and Ruturaj Gaikwad, who shared a 195-run stand, with KL Rahul adding a steady half-century. Despite the total, heavy dew made defending difficult for the Indian bowlers.

Aiden Markram led South Africa’s reply with a composed century, supported by Temba Bavuma and Matthew Breetzke, who added a crucial half-century under pressure. Dewald Brevis accelerated the chase with a rapid fifty before South Africa lost wickets in quick succession.

Corbin Bosch finished the game with an unbeaten 29 off 15 balls, steering his side home with Keshav Maharaj as India struggled to control the wet ball in the final overs.

The win sets up a decisive third ODI in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, 6 December.
