FIFA has launched the Random Selection Draw, the third ticketing phase for the 2026 World Cup and the first stage allowing supporters to request single-match seats linked directly to confirmed group-stage fixtures. The application window remains open until 13 January at 11:00 ET (17:00 CET), with the federation stressing that early submissions do not increase the chance of being selected.
Nearly two million tickets have already been distributed across earlier phases, underscoring the strong early demand for the expanded 48-team tournament. Prices remain fixed throughout this sales period for both general public tickets and Participating Member Association (PMA) supporter allocations.
Applicants must log in with an existing FIFA ID or create a new account at FIFA.com/tickets before selecting matches, categories and quantities within household limits. Successful and partially successful applicants will receive email confirmation, and payments will be processed automatically in February.
With the publication of the full match schedule on 6 December, fans can now tailor their requests to specific games. PMA supporter tickets open on 11 December, subject to eligibility defined by each national federation.
FIFA’s hospitality partner On Location continues offering premium matchday packages, while Qatar Airways provides bundled travel packages that include flights, accommodation and match access. A resale marketplace will open on 15 December, offering an additional route for fans seeking tickets.
FIFA advises fans to review all legal requirements on its ticketing portal. Applicants must be at least 18, and winning entries result in automatic purchase of the allocated tickets.
