
Abu Muslim Farah sealed the title with a commanding league campaign, finishing top with a perfect 27-point haul.

The fifth season of the Afghanistan Football Champions League concluded with Abu Muslim Farah lifting the title after 27 days of competition organised by the Afghanistan Football Federation in cooperation with the General Directorate of Physical Education and Sport.
Played in a league format and featuring ten top teams, the tournament saw Abu Muslim Farah dominate the standings, finishing first with 27 points. Sorkhpoushan Khafi secured second place with 24 points, while Sarafan Herat finished third on 18 points.
The closing ceremony was attended by senior officials, including Ahmadullah Wasiq, Director General of Sport, Ahmad Jan Zadran, Technical and Professional Deputy, and Hayatullah Mohajer Farahi, Deputy Minister of Information and Culture for Publications, alongside federation officials, administrators and athletes.
Season awards were also presented following decisions by the technical committee. Masoud Nazarzada was named Coach of the Season, Alireza Panahi won Creative Player of the Season, Owais Azizi was selected as Best Goalkeeper, and Farhad Alizadeh finished as the league’s top scorer.
The champions and standout performers received the championship trophy, medals and certificates from the organisers.
The Afghanistan Football Champions League is the country’s top domestic club competition, bringing together leading teams from across the provinces. The fifth edition aimed to strengthen competitive football, provide regular match exposure for players, and maintain the continuity of national club competitions under the supervision of the Afghanistan Football Federation.
