
The Afghanistan Sports Journalists Federation recognised Abu Muslim Farah’s management following the club’s championship success in the 2025 Afghanistan Champions League.

The leadership of Abu Muslim Farah Football Club has been formally commended by the Afghanistan Sports Journalists Federation (ASJF) following the club’s title-winning campaign in the 2025 Afghanistan Champions League (ACL).
Representing ASJF, the federation presented a certificate of appreciation and an official commemorative jersey to Abu Muslim Farah club manager Ghulam Farooq Barkzai in recognition of the club’s achievement during the fifth round of the ACL season.
ASJF officials said the decision to honour the club’s management reflected Abu Muslim Farah’s successful organisation, competitive performance and representation of Afghan football at the national level.
The certificate and jersey were issued by the ASJF leadership and delivered in person, with organisers noting that the presentation was carried out as an official and symbolic gesture of recognition.
In a closing message, the Afghanistan Sports Journalists Federation extended its best wishes to Abu Muslim Farah as the club prepares to represent Afghanistan in the AFC Challenge Cup play-off matches, expressing hope for a positive result on the continental stage.
