The Directorate’s Head of Religious Guidance, Mufti Dad Mohammad Baryal Attaie, also congratulated the wrestlers and expressed hope that they would perform strongly in international competitions and bring pride to Afghanistan.

National wrestling coach Mohammad Salem Ehsan described Greco-Roman wrestling as a traditional sport with deep historical roots, noting that the discipline has shown steady development in recent years.

The ceremony was attended by officials from various sports departments, leaders of the National Wrestling Federation, athletes and members of the public. Certificates of appreciation and medals were presented to the selected wrestlers at the conclusion of the event.
