The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a global, multi-year partnership with Marriott Bonvoy, naming the award-winning travel platform as its Official Accommodation Partner through to 2029, in a move designed to enhance the experience of cricket fans travelling to ICC events worldwide.

Unveiled in Mumbai, the agreement will cover all ICC men’s events, beginning with the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka. Fans attending ICC tournaments will gain access to Marriott Bonvoy’s extensive global portfolio of hotels, both through direct bookings and via official travel packages offered in collaboration with ICC Travel and Tours.

The partnership brings together cricket and global hospitality, leveraging Marriott Bonvoy’s network of more than 450 properties across key cricketing nations. It will also support teams, officials and ICC stakeholders during major tournaments and international conferences.

ICC Chairman Jay Shah said the collaboration reflects a shared ambition to redefine how fans experience international cricket, combining the sport’s global reach with world-class travel and accommodation options. ICC Chief Executive Sanjog Gupta added that while on-field action remains central, travel, hospitality and cultural experiences play an increasingly important role in shaping fan engagement at major events.

Marriott Bonvoy executives described the partnership as an opportunity to connect cricket’s global fan base with memorable travel experiences, particularly across markets where the sport enjoys deep cultural roots, including India, Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka.

The agreement also includes plans for bespoke cricket-led content, local activations and enhanced member engagement, further strengthening the ICC’s growing commercial portfolio alongside recent partnerships with global brands.

The ICC-Marriott Bonvoy partnership underscores the expanding role of sports business and fan experience in modern international cricket, reflecting a broader shift toward integrated, event-wide engagement beyond the boundary rope.
