Conflicting information has circulated on social media about the date of Afghanistan’s final match against Ireland, with some reports claiming the game will be played on Friday and others stating that it will take place on Saturday.
Some cricket applications have also listed August 14, Friday, as the match date.
However, according to the schedule announced by the Afghanistan and Ireland cricket boards, as well as information published by ESPNcricinfo, the final match between Afghanistan and Ireland is scheduled for Saturday, August 15.
The match will therefore take place the day after Friday, contrary to some reports currently circulating on social media.
