
Afghanistan’s National and A cricket teams have started preparations for a series of upcoming matches against Sri Lanka to be hosted by the United Arab Emirates.

According to a statement released by the Afghanistan Cricket Board, the training camp has been launched at the Rahmat Wali Masroor Cricket Academy as part of preparations for the upcoming Twenty20 and One Day International matches against Sri Lanka.
The training camp began on February 6, 2026, and will continue until February 26. A total of 18 players from both the National and A teams are participating in the program.
In this regard, it is also noted that Afghanistan is scheduled to play a series of matches against United Arab Emirates and Sri Lanka in the second half of March. However, the exact dates and venues for these matches have not yet been officially announced.
Afghan fans have expressed optimism about the national team’s preparations and hope for successful performances in the upcoming fixtures against Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates.
