The Afghanistan national futsal team played out a 3–3 draw against Kuwait in their second international friendly as part of preparations for the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2026.
The result followed an earlier 4–4 draw between the two sides, underlining Afghanistan’s competitive showing across both matches against the regional opponents.
The friendlies were held during Afghanistan’s ongoing training camp in Kuwait, which forms a key phase of the team’s build-up toward the continental tournament.
Afghanistan’s national futsal team began its training camp in Kuwait on the 18th of the current month, with the camp scheduled to run until the 23rd. The two friendly matches against Kuwait were arranged to provide match fitness and tactical preparation as the team continues its roadmap toward qualification and readiness for the 2026 AFC Futsal Asian Cup.
