Afghanistan’s Champions League placed 40th in the latest AFC league rankings.

According to the latest rankings released by the Asian Football Confederation, Afghanistan’s domestic football league has been placed 40th among the 47 member associations.

The ranking indicates that only seven Asian football leagues currently stand below Afghanistan in terms of club performance and competitiveness at the continental level.

These rankings are determined based on the performance of clubs in regional competitions and the overall standard of domestic league structures.

While the 40th position reflects ongoing challenges within Afghanistan’s club football system, increased investment and greater support for players and domestic competitions could help improve the league’s standing in future AFC rankings.
