Preparatory fixtures set ahead of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, as Afghanistan Set for T20 World Cup Warm-Ups Against Scotland and West Indies

Afghanistan’s national cricket team will play two Twenty20 warm-up matches next week against Scotland and the West Indies as part of preparations for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.

According to the Afghanistan Cricket Board, Afghanistan will face Scotland on Monday, 13 Dalwa, at 2:00 PM, followed by another practice match against West Indies on Wednesday, 15 Dalwa. The schedule was officially announced by the board on Wednesday via its social media platforms.

The matches form part of the official warm-up program ahead of the global tournament, which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka and is set to begin on 19 Dalwa.

The fixtures are expected to provide Afghanistan’s squad with valuable match conditions and competitive exposure before the start of the tournament, as the team fine-tunes combinations and strategies for the world stage.
