Kabul:The Afghanistan Wushu Federation has announced that the National Wushu Championships, titled “Asian Youth Medalists Cup,” will soon be held in Kabul.
According to the federation, athletes from across the country will compete in various weight categories across junior, youth, and senior divisions.
The tournament is scheduled to kick off on September 12 at the Wushu Federation’s indoor sports hall in Kabul.
Each province will be allowed to field one athlete per weight category, and the team accumulating the highest points will be crowned national champion.
The event aims to promote Wushu nationwide and provide young Afghan athletes with a platform to showcase their talent.
