According to the Afghanistan Sports Journalists’ Federation (ASJF) official press release, from mid-2025 until the end of 2025, ASJFNews published 882 national and international sports news stories. The reports covered sports events inside Afghanistan and Afghan participation in competitions and activities outside the country.

During this period, ASJFNews continued publishing with limited staff and basic technical resources. Despite these limits, daily reporting was not stopped.

In addition to regular news coverage, the ASJFNews desk also prepared investigative reports and national sports stories for AIPSMedia, contributing to Afghan sports journalism to an international professional outlet linked with the International Sports Press Association (AIPS).

The coverage focused mainly on domestic competitions, federation activities, international appearances by Afghan athletes, and governance-related sports news. Longer reports were prepared where information required follow-up and verification.

ASJFNews remained the only Afghan sports news outlet publishing Afghanistan-related sports news in English for international audiences, while also publishing news in Pashto and Dari for Afghan readers through the official Facebook page of the Afghanistan Sports Journalists National Federation.

The work during this period was aimed at keeping Afghan sports news active and visible, rather than expanding output or promotional reach.
