A one-day Kurash tournament featuring 74 athletes from across Baghlan concluded in Pul-e-Khumri, with 37 competitors securing top positions.

A Kurash tournament titled the Future Makers Cup was held in Pul-e-Khumri, organized by the provincial representation of the Kurash Federation in cooperation with the Baghlan Directorate of Physical Education and Sports. Seventy-four athletes from the provincial center and districts took part in the one-day event.

According to officials, 37 athletes earned first-place titles after overcoming their opponents in various weight categories. Organizers said the aim of the competition was to identify emerging talents and prepare athletes for future provincial and national participation.

At the end of the event, gifts and awards were presented to the top performers.

Kurash competitions have gained popularity across Baghlan, with local tournaments serving as an important platform for scouting new athletes and promoting the sport at the grassroots level.
