The FIFA Museum will open a permanent display featuring the FIFA Club World Cup™ Trophy from January 13, 2026, offering visitors a first-hand look at one of the most significant new symbols in global club football.

The display follows the inaugural edition of the FIFA Club World Cup™, which was staged across the United States and featured 63 matches and 195 goals, with games played in cities including Miami, Seattle, Los Angeles and Philadelphia. Chelsea FC were crowned the first champions, lifting the trophy in the New York–New Jersey area.

The trophy will be exhibited in the museum’s Foundations Room, a space dedicated to FIFA’s early mission of promoting international competition and developing football worldwide. Museum officials said the placement reflects the connection between the organisation’s founding principles and the latest evolution of elite club football.

Designed by FIFA and produced in collaboration with Tiffany & Co., the trophy is made of gold vermeil and features laser engravings depicting footballers, supporters and key moments from the sport’s history, including FIFA’s founding date. The design includes inscriptions in 13 languages as well as Braille, highlighting the competition’s global and inclusive identity.

The FIFA Museum houses one of the world’s most extensive collections dedicated to international football, presenting the history of the game and FIFA’s role in its global development through exhibitions, audiovisual installations and interactive experiences.
