Khost Maqam defeated the Municipality team in the final as 30 players were selected for provincial and youth squads.

A hockey selection tournament involving ten teams was held in Khost Province at the gymnasium of the Administrative Complex.
The tournament was organised in coordination with the Khost Department of Physical Education and Sports, implemented by the provincial representation of the Hockey Federation, and financially supported by the Khost Municipality.
In the final match, Khost Maqam defeated the Municipality team 5–2 to claim the tournament title. In addition to the championship result, 15 players were selected for the Khost provincial team and another 15 for the Khost youth team. The selected players are expected to represent the province in upcoming national competitions.
The two-day tournament was conducted to identify new hockey talent and strengthen the province’s provincial and youth teams. At the closing ceremony, the championship trophy was awarded to the winning team, while selected players received prepared prizes.
