A one-day traditional sports competition brought together 30 teenage athletes, promoting local and ancestral sports in Daikundi.

A traditional stone throwing competition was held in the Kijran district of Daikundi province with the participation of 30 teenage athletes. The one-day event was organized by the Daikundi Directorate of Physical Education and Sports and featured competitors from the district center and surrounding villages.
At the conclusion of the competition, Sultan Ali secured first place with the highest score, while Raziq Hussaini finished second. Officials praised the athletes’ performance and the level of participation.
The event aimed to promote and preserve local and traditional sports while encouraging youth participation in healthy physical activities. Awards were presented to the top performers at the end of the competition.
