The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed that celebrated playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan will perform a live medley of her greatest hits during the highly anticipated Women’s Cricket World Cup Final in Navi Mumbai. Chauhan will be joined by 60 dancers, accompanied by a spectacular laser, drone, and fireworks show choreographed by Sanjay Shetty.
The grand finale performance will include 350 mast cast performers, creating one of the largest entertainment spectacles ever staged at a women’s cricket event. Sunidhi will also perform India’s national anthem, while South Africa’s anthem will be sung by Cape Town artist Tarynn Bank.
“It’s an honour to be performing at the Women’s World Cup, and I am really looking forward to the big day,” Chauhan said. “With India in the final and the stands packed with enthusiastic fans, I’m sure the atmosphere will be electric, it will be a day all of us will remember for long.”
Chauhan, one of India’s most popular and versatile voices, has sold over 50 million records worldwide and earned numerous awards over her three decade career. She rose to fame at age 13 with Ruki Ruki Si Zindagi and later made history performing alongside global stars such as Coldplay in New York. Her recent I AM HOME international concert tour sold out venues from Dubai to London and Los Angeles, solidifying her reputation as one of India’s biggest cultural icons.
The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 Final marks a historic moment for women’s cricket, with India reaching the final on home soil against South Africa. The event will combine top-class cricket with world class entertainment, celebrating both athletic excellence and cultural vibrancy in one of the sport’s biggest global stages.
