The first official volleyball league in the Murghab district of Ghor province has begun, featuring eight teams competing over a week.

The volleyball league officially started on Monday in the Siyab area of Murghab district, Ghor province, organized in coordination with the Provincial Directorate of Olympic, Physical Education, and Sports.
Eight teams from various parts of the district are participating in the competition. The opening match was played between the “Aqabaan” and “Piroozi” teams, where Aqabaan secured a convincing 3–0 victory.
According to Jan Mohammad Haidari, Technical Deputy of the Olympic, Physical Education and Sports Directorate of Ghor, this is the first time an official volleyball league is being held under the directorate’s supervision in Murghab district. He said the tournament aims to promote volleyball and strengthen unity and solidarity among local youth.
The league matches will continue for one week.
