Paktia: A major volleyball tournament featuring 40 teams has officially begun in Mirzaka district, Paktia province.
The event is organized by the district representative office of the Volleyball Federation in collaboration with the Directorate of Physical Education and Sports of Paktia.
In the opening match, the Gharak team secured the first victory of the tournament by defeating the Rahmanullah B team with a 3–0 set win.
According to organizers, the tournament is aimed at promoting unity among youth and raising awareness about the fight against narcotics. The competitions are set to continue for one month before the final winners are crowned.
