KABUL, April 24, 2015 – Sayer Zaland hasbeen elected as the new president of Afghanistan sport writer’s federation (ASWF).
“This is really a difficult task anda big responsibility, But, I am ready to make the effort to improve theAfghanistan sport writers federation and work on problems.The aimof AWSF is to create a center of guidance or counseling for Afghan writers (menand women) who wants to be active in amateur sports and we are working for thisaim,” Zaland said
The election took place in Kabul onMonday April 21,and Zaland assumed office two days later.
ASWF also elected other members of the board as below:
Secretary General: Babrak yousafzai
Senior Vice President: Fazal Wahid Afkari
First Vice President: Zakaria Cheragh
Second Vice President: Abdul Sane Amanpur
Finance Secretary: Nazanin Wali (woman)
Information Secretary: Mashal Zeerak
Joint Sectary: Ahmad Shoaib dost
Deputy General Secretary: Farkhunda Arezo(woman)
