Editorial Standards
Accuracy, independence and fairness guide every ASJF NEWS report.
Accuracy and verification
We verify names, dates, results, quotations and material claims before publication. When information is developing, we clearly distinguish confirmed facts from what remains uncertain.
Independence and conflicts
Editorial decisions are made for journalistic reasons. Reporters should disclose significant conflicts of interest and must not allow outside organizations to dictate news coverage.
Fairness and attribution
We seek relevant perspectives, attribute information clearly and distinguish reporting from commentary. Images and third-party material must be credited appropriately.
Accountability
Material errors are corrected promptly. Readers can contact the newsroom when they believe a report requires review.
