Jawzjan Hosts Full-Martial Arts Elite Competitions

Sheberghan: Under the initiative of the Jawzjan Provincial Full Contact Martial Arts Federation, the elite team selection competitions were successfully held at the city gymnasium in Sheberghan, drawing significant excitement and enthusiasm from athletes and spectators alike.

The event was attended by physical education instructors, federation officials, parents, and sports enthusiasts, highlighting the growing popularity of martial arts in the region.

A total of three active full-contact martial arts clubs participated, featuring 32 athletes across various weight categories and age groups, including juniors, youth, and adults. Competitors delivered thrilling performances in their quest to secure a place on the provincial elite team.

The primary aim of the competition was to select top athletes from Jawzjan to represent the province and potentially qualify for the national team.

Teacher Parwiz Rostami, Head of the Jawzjan Full-Contact Martial Arts Federation, praised the dedication of athletes and coaches and emphasized the federation’s commitment to promoting martial arts and preparing athletes for national-level events.
