Kalfgan: A one day stone throwing competition was held in Kalfgan district, Tachar province, bringing together 20 athletes from the district and surrounding villages.
The event was organized by the Department of Physical Education and Sports of Tachar to promote traditional and local sports.
After a series of competitive rounds, Atiqullah secured first place with the highest score, followed by Javadullah in second.
The tournament aimed to encourage participation in traditional sports, foster healthy competition, and strengthen the skills of local athletes.
Organizers emphasized that such events play a key role in preserving cultural sports traditions while providing youth with a platform for engagement and personal development.
