A volleyball tournament featuring ten teams concluded on Thursday in Kamar Dinan village of Sharan, the capital of Paktika province, with the Waseem team winning the title. The event was organized by the provincial Volleyball Federation under the Directorate of Physical Education and Sports.

In the final match, Waseem’s team defeated Mohammad Nabi’s team 2–1 to claim the championship trophy.

According to organizers, the ten-day competition aimed to promote healthy recreation among youth and encourage participation in community sports.

Local sports officials praised the strong performance of all participating teams, noting that such grassroots tournaments help identify young talent and expand the popularity of volleyball across Paktika province.
