
Afghanistan lost 60–50 to Kuwait in its fourth match at the 2025 Asian Wheelchair Basketball Championships, following two early wins to open the tournament.

Afghanistan’s national wheelchair basketball team suffered a 60–50 defeat against Kuwait on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 (21 Aqrab 1404), in its fourth game of the 2025 Asian Championships in Bangkok.
The team had started the tournament strongly with victories over New Zealand and India, but later recorded back-to-back losses to Iraq and Kuwait.
Afghanistan will play its final match on Friday, November 14 (23 Aqrab), against the Philippines.
The 2025 Asian Wheelchair Basketball Championships began on November 7 in Bangkok, Thailand, with 14 countries competing. The tournament runs until November 15 and serves as one of the key regional events for developing and promoting wheelchair basketball across Asia.
