
A one-day arm-wrestling competition with 30 athletes was held in Shah Joy district as part of efforts to promote traditional sports in the province.

A one-day arm-wrestling competition featuring 30 athletes was held in Shah Joy district of Zabul province, local sports officials said.
The event was organized by the Directorate of Physical Education and Sport in cooperation with the Department of National and Traditional Games. Competitors represented two local clubs led by Coach Nader Khan and Coach Abdul Shakoor.
Officials reported that athletes from Coach Nader Khan’s club secured the top results and claimed the overall victory. Organizers said the goal of the competition was to support and promote Afghanistan’s traditional sports at the community level.
