A three-day buz kashi tournament featuring riders from Takhar and neighboring provinces concluded in Khwaja Bahauddin district with several top horsemen securing honors.

A total of 80 chapandazan competed in the event, which was organized by the district’s buz kashi committee in coordination with the Directorate of Physical Education and Sport. Local officials said the tournament, hosted in Khwaja Bahauddin, brought together some of the region’s most experienced riders.

The competition ended with standout performances from Abdul Rashid Pahlawan, Haji Ghulam Khudai, Zikr Pahlawan, Zabih Darqadi, Dadullah Pahlawan, and Qand Agha Pahlawan, who each received awards for their achievements.

Participants expressed satisfaction with the event’s organization and announced their readiness to compete in the upcoming national buz kashi league. Organizers said the tournament was held to help riders prepare for the league and strengthen the sport’s presence in the province.
