A local Kurash wrestling competition with 60 participants was held in the Aq Masjid area of Taloqan, bringing together athletes from the city and neighboring districts.
The event was organized by the Kurash Federation’s provincial branch in coordination with the Directorate of Physical Education and Sport. Officials said the competition aimed to promote traditional Afghan sports and encourage greater youth participation.
Organizers reported that the tournament concluded successfully, with awards presented to 30 top-performing athletes.
