A futsal tournament featuring 18 teams, organised by the Ghazni Institute of Agriculture and Veterinary in cooperation with the provincial Department of Physical Education and Sports, concluded in the centre of Ghazni city after 45 days of competition.
In the final match, Shamir Sahib High School defeated Sanayi High School 4–3 to claim the championship title.
One of the organisers said the event aimed to promote sports among youth and identify emerging local talents.
At the closing ceremony, the provincial sports office awarded the championship trophy to the winning team, while outstanding players received individual sports prizes.
Local futsal tournaments in Ghazni have grown steadily in recent years, and officials say such events help encourage youth participation and support the discovery of new talent across the province.
