Afghanistan reach last four after finishing second in Super Six group

The Afghanistan Under-19 national cricket team will face India in the semi-final of the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2026.

Afghanistan secured qualification for the semi-finals after finishing second in Group One of the Super Six stage. India, meanwhile, topped Group Two following a decisive victory over their traditional rivals Pakistan.

The four teams advancing to the semi-final stage are Australia and Afghanistan from Group One, along with India and England from Group Two.

According to the tournament schedule, the semi-final matches will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, 14 and 15 Dalwa 1404. Afghanistan are set to play India on Wednesday, 15 Dalwa, with the match scheduled to begin at 12:00 PM Kabul time.

The other semi-final will see Australia take on England a day earlier, on Tuesday, 14 Dalwa.
