
Blakh crowned champions after 66–40 win over Nangarhar in final as 12 players selected for national team

The wheelchair basketball selection tournament concluded in Kabul following three days of competition among eight provincial teams, held at the Red Cross Sports Gymnasium in cooperation with the National Paralympic Committee.
Around 80 athletes from Herat, Faryab, Balkh, Badakhshan, Nangarhar, Parwan, Laghman, and Kabul participated in the event.
In the final match, Balkh defeated Nangarhar 66–40 to claim the championship title.
At the conclusion of the tournament, 12 players were selected for the Afghanistan national wheelchair basketball team. The event aimed to identify top talent for the national squad and encourage participation of persons with disabilities in sports.
Winners and outstanding players were awarded trophies, medals, and sports equipment.
Officials from the Olympic Affairs Department, the Technical and Professional Directorate of the sports authority, the NOVE Caring Human organization, and sports representatives attended the closing ceremony.
