
The top athletes of the inaugural Tour Afghanistan Motorcycle Racing Competition have been recognized and honored after completing a 1,500-kilometer sporting journey across the country.

A ceremony was held to honor and encourage the top performers of the first Tour Afghanistan Motorcycle Racing Competition, which was organized over the past week in cooperation with the General Directorate of Olympic, Physical Education and Sports.
The competition brought together 20 athletes from four provinces who traveled a 1,500-kilometer route from Kabul to Badakhshan, passing through nearly 15 provinces during the sporting journey. The event was organized to promote sports culture, strengthen national unity, and highlight Afghanistan’s sporting potential.
The appreciation ceremony was attended by Hafiz Ahmad Jan Zadran, Technical and Professional Deputy of the country’s sports administration, Sayed Nabiullah Sadat, President of the National Motorcycle Racing Federation, along with sports officials, provincial sports directors, federation representatives, and athletes.
Speaking at the event, Dad Mohammad Payanda Akhtari expressed his satisfaction with the successful organization of the competition nationwide, describing it as an important step toward encouraging young people to participate in sports, promoting a culture of athleticism, and developing motorcycle racing in Afghanistan.
He also called on the international sports community to establish direct communication and cooperation with the country’s sports administration and to closely observe major sporting events held across Afghanistan.
Akhtari emphasized that expanding international cooperation could play an effective role in the growth and development of Afghan sports and in improving the capabilities of the country’s athletes.
