Afghanistan has named a 15-member squad for their upcoming series against India, with Ibrahim Zadran appointed captain. The Afghanistan Cricket Board has also named three reserve players for the series, which is scheduled to run from Sept. 13 to 17.

The Afghanistan Cricket Board’s selection committee has announced a 15-member national squad for the upcoming series against India.

Ibrahim Zadran will lead the side, with Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Sediqullah Atal, Darwish Rasooli, Azmatullah Omarzai, Gulbadin Naib, Noor Rahman, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan, Nangyal Kharotai, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Noor Ahmad, Fazal Haq Farooqi, Naveen Ul Haq and Abdullah Ahmadzai included in the squad.

Shahidullah Kamal, Farid Ahmad Malik and Ijaz Ahmadzai have been named as reserve players.

The series is scheduled to begin on Sept. 13 and conclude on Sept. 17.
Afghanistan will enter the series against India with a 15-player squad and three reserves as the national side continues its international cricket programme.
