The Afghan team will play Mongolia in its second match on Thursday, the directorate said.

The 2026 World Nomad Games are being held in Kyrgyzstan, with the competition running from August 31 to September 7. Organizers say athletes from more than 100 countries are participating across traditional and national sports.

For Afghanistan, the buzkashi campaign continues with the match against Mongolia, giving the team an opportunity to respond after its opening defeat.
