A spear-throwing competition involving 128 athletes from six provinces has begun in Andar district of Ghazni.
The three-day competition was organized by the provincial representative of the sport’s federation in cooperation with the Ghazni Physical Education and Sports Directorate.
Athletes from Ghazni, Paktika, Paktia, Khost, Maidan Wardak and Zabul are competing as part of 32 teams.
The competition features three categories: Single, Single Line and Section.
Organizers said the event aims to strengthen coordination among athletes from different provinces, promote unity and solidarity, and support the development of spear-throwing in Ghazni.
The competition brings together athletes from six provinces for three days of competition in Andar district.
