Several internationally renowned artists and entertainers have been confirmed for the FIFA World Cup 2026 opening ceremonies in Los Angeles ahead of the United States’ opening match of the tournament.

FIFA has announced additional talent for the FIFA World Cup 2026 opening ceremonies, with country music duo Dan + Shay and Paraguayan group Purahei Soul set to perform the national anthems before the United States faces Paraguay in its opening match.

Dan + Shay will perform the United States national anthem, while Purahei Soul will sing Paraguay’s national anthem during the pre-match ceremony at Los Angeles Stadium on June 12.

American actor and comedian Jason Sudeikis has also been named a FIFA World Cup 2026 Ambassador and will welcome fans while highlighting football’s role in bringing people together on the global stage.

The opening celebrations will feature appearances by several international music stars, including Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, LISA, Rema and Tyla, reflecting the global appeal and cultural significance of the tournament.

Fans attending the event have been encouraged to arrive early, as the opening ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. local time. Stadium gates will open four hours before kick-off, with a range of fan activities, entertainment programs and interactive experiences planned throughout the venue.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be the largest edition of the tournament in history and will be hosted jointly by the United States, Canada and Mexico. The competition is expected to attract millions of fans worldwide and feature extensive cultural and entertainment events alongside the football matches.
