
Jowzjan: The first edition of the Ganjina Bakhtar Taekwondo Fighting Tournament concluded in Jowzjan province, bringing together 100 athletes from 15 teams representing 10 provinces across the country.
Organized by the National Taekwondo Federation in collaboration with the Provincial Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, the competition showcased top-level skill in the fighting style.
Jowzjan’s team emerged victorious with 28 points, followed by Balkh with 14 points and Takhar with 11 points securing third place.
Athletes also participated in the Poomsae style, with competitions in that category set to conclude the following day.
The tournament aimed to promote the growth and development of Taekwondo across Afghanistan. Winners in the fighting category received awards and recognition for their achievements.
