
Kabul: The National Youth Judo Tournament officially kicked off in Kabul, featuring over 100 athletes from 13 provinces.
The National Judo Federation organizes the tournament in collaboration with the General Directorate of Sports, Physical Education, and Olympic Affairs.
The event was attended by Molavi Ahmadullah Wathiq, Director General of Olympic, Physical Education and Sports, technical and professional deputy Hafiz Ahmad Jan Zadran, sports advisor Qari Hayatullah Rahmani, Atal Mashwani, Head of Sports Publications, as well as federation officials and numerous athletes.
Competitors participated in weight categories ranging from 60 to 73 kilograms.
The two-day tournament aims to identify top athletes for international competitions and promote the growth and development of judo across Afghanistan.
