The football championship in Jaghori district, Ghazni province, concluded with Naveed Heidara FC edging past Omid Zairak FC in a tense penalty shootout (4–3) to claim the title.
Nineteen teams took part in the three-week tournament, organized by the provincial branch of the National Football Federation in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education and Sports. The final, attended by hundreds of spectators, was a showcase of passion and competitive spirit.
Individual awards went to Mostafa Shafayi (Best Goalkeeper), Ali Sina Mousavi (Top Scorer), and Hamid Soltani (Best Player). At the closing ceremony, trophies and sports prizes were distributed to the champions and standout performers.
The tournament aimed to promote football in Ghazni and select teams for the upcoming Jaghori Premier League. Football has grown steadily in Jaghori, with local tournaments offering young players a platform to showcase their talent and earn opportunities at higher levels of competition.
