Istiqlal Kabul Beat Khurasan as Toofan Herat and Aino Mina Share Points

Istiqlal Kabul defeated Khurasan Faryab 2–0 while Toofan Herat and Aino Mina Kandahar played out a 1–1 draw in the Roshan Afghanistan Champions League. Haroon Noori and Martinez were named the standout players in the two matches.

Istiqlal Kabul secured a 2–0 victory over Khurasan Faryab, while Toofan Herat and Aino Mina Kandahar shared the points in the latest Roshan Afghanistan Champions League matches in Kabul.

Istiqlal went into their meeting with Khurasan looking for a result after a difficult opening stretch of the campaign and came away with all three points.

The two sides remained level through the first half before Istiqlal scored twice to complete a 2–0 victory.

Haroon Noori was named player of the match for Istiqlal following his performance against the Faryab side.

In the other match, Toofan Herat and Aino Mina Kandahar could not be separated, finishing 1–1.

The draw gave both clubs a point as the sixth season of Afghanistan’s top domestic football competition continued at the Afghanistan Football Federation Stadium in Kabul.

Martinez of Toofan Herat was selected as player of the match.

The Roshan Afghanistan Champions League is being contested by 10 clubs this season, with teams playing each other on a home-and-away basis.
