
The artificial turf “Toloo” Stadium opens in Firozkoh, hosting its first friendly matches and energizing local sports.

The “Toloo” futsal stadium, featuring artificial turf, was inaugurated in the Pozelich area of Firozkoh, Ghor province. Built at a cost of two million Afghanis, the facility officially opened on Sunday, 13 Mizan 1404 (Sept. 29, 2025), in a ceremony attended by local and sports officials.
Jan Mohammad Haidari, Technical and Professional Deputy of Ghor’s Physical Education and Sports Department, said, “To mark the opening, friendly futsal matches were held among four teams.” Team “Sefidkoh” claimed the championship.
Athletes and youth welcomed the new stadium, calling it a key step toward promoting sports and encouraging healthy activities among young people.
Artificial turf futsal stadiums in central provinces like Ghor play a vital role in expanding community sports and engaging youth. The opening of “Toloo” Stadium reflects ongoing efforts to improve access to sports facilities and strengthen team sports at the provincial level.
