An 18-day youth football competition in the Alasay district brought together ten teams, highlighting grassroots development in Kapisa.

A youth football tournament featuring ten teams concluded in Alasay district of Kapisa province on Sunday, following 18 days of competition organized by the provincial representative office of the Afghanistan Football Federation under the Kapisa Directorate of Physical Education and Sports.

In the final match, Rah Sang defeated Shaheen Sama Qarya by 6–3 goals to claim the tournament title, closing the competition with an attacking display.

Organizers said the tournament provided young players with regular competitive matches and an opportunity to showcase emerging talent at the district level.

The competition was held as part of ongoing efforts to promote football and strengthen unity among young athletes in Kapisa, where local tournaments continue to play a key role in sustaining grassroots sports activity across the province.
