Paris Saint-Germain and France forward Ousmane Dembélé has been named The Best FIFA Men’s Player 2025, capping a season in which he played a decisive role in the most successful campaign in the club’s history.

Dembélé was central to PSG’s maiden UEFA Champions League title, scoring eight goals and providing six assists during the competition. His performances earned him Player of the Season honours in both the Champions League and Ligue 1, as PSG completed a domestic treble by also winning the Coupe de France and Trophée des Champions.

The 28-year-old attacker also helped PSG reach the final of the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup, further underlining his influence across competitions during the 2024/25 season.

The award was determined through a voting process involving national team coaches, national team captains, football journalists, and fans worldwide, with each group accounting for 25% of the final result. The voting period spanned performances from August 2024 to August 2025.

Dembélé’s recognition reflects a broader shift in European football, where individual awards increasingly reward sustained impact in elite competitions rather than isolated brilliance. His season with PSG combined consistency, decisive match influence, and silverware, positioning him at the centre of club football’s highest achievements in 2025.
