A large-scale futsal tournament involving 70 teams concluded at the Mohammad Baqir Sports Gymnasium in Kabul, organized by the Futsal Committee of the Afghanistan Football Federation under the General Directorate of Olympic, Physical Education and Sports.

In the final match, Yaran Attai defeated their opponents 3–2 to secure the championship title after an intense contest.

The tournament, held under the name Esteqlal Cup, ran for two months and attracted wide participation from players and strong interest from futsal supporters. Sports officials and representatives of the futsal committee attended the closing ceremony.

Organizers said the competition was held to promote unity among athletes, expand futsal participation, and strengthen the sport’s structure in the capital, with plans to continue similar large-scale tournaments in the future.
