Akbar Kazemi’s injury has been assessed as minor, while Javad Safari remains unavailable due to club restrictions following Giti Pasand’s league defeat.

National team player Akbar Kazemi has sustained an injury, but medical assessments indicate that the issue is not serious and is not expected to sideline him for an extended period.
Meanwhile, Javad Safari, who was scheduled to join the national team camp from today, will not be available due to his club’s decision to retain him. Safari’s club, Giti Pasand, has declined to release its national team players following a recent defeat in the Iranian Premier League.
Sources close to the situation say the club’s decision is temporary and largely strategic. Giti Pasand cannot hold on to its national team players for an extended period, as several members of the Iran national team are also part of the club’s squad.
The move is viewed as a pressure tactic by club management, aimed at refocusing players after the loss and preparing the team for a renewed title push once the league resumes following a short break.
National team officials are monitoring the situation and expect Safari to rejoin the squad once club commitments ease.
