Sar Sabz finished top of the standings to earn promotion to the Faryab Premier League, while Aryan followed as runners-up.

The League A Football Championship of Faryab Province concluded on Friday with Sar Sabz Football Club claiming the title after a competitive season involving ten teams.

The closing ceremony was held in the presence of provincial sports officials, including representatives of the Olympic, Physical Education and Sports Directorate of Faryab, the provincial Football Federation leadership, and futsal committee officials, alongside guests.

Sar Sabz secured the championship by collecting the highest number of points across the season, while Aryan Faryab finished second to take the runners-up position. Both clubs earned promotion to the Faryab Premier League under the competition regulations.

At the other end of the table, Etihad FC and Sar Sabz Pashtunkot were relegated to the second division after finishing with the lowest points totals.

Individual awards were also announced at the conclusion of the league. Hedayatullah Babai (Jawanan Almar) and Najibullah Samadi (Javidan) shared the top scorer honor. Shah Wais Imaq of Sar Sabz was named Best Player of the League, while his teammate Fayaz Kohi received the Best Goalkeeper award. Qari Sajad Amiri of Arya was recognized as the Young Talent of the Season.

The League A competition is regarded as one of the key structured football tournaments in Faryab Province, playing an important role in talent identification, competitive development, and strengthening grassroots football within the region.
