Afghanistan’s U-20 national football team recorded a 5-1 victory over Sarmiasht in its final friendly match before traveling to Bahrain for the Asian qualifying competition.

The match was played on Friday afternoon as the young national side completed the final stage of its preparations before departure.

Afghanistan scored five goals in the friendly while conceding once to secure a convincing victory in its final preparatory fixture.

The U-20 squad will now turn its attention to the Asian qualifiers in Bahrain.


Afghanistan’s U-20 national team has been preparing for the Asian qualifying competition through training sessions and friendly matches. The team is set to travel to Bahrain for the next stage of its campaign.
