Afghanistan’s under-20 national football team is set to play Tajikistan on Thursday in its second match of the 2027 AFC U20 Asian Cup qualifying campaign.
The match will begin at 6:30 p.m. local time in Bahrain, according to information from the Afghanistan Football Federation reported by Pajhwok Afghan News.
Afghanistan has been drawn with Jordan, Tajikistan and host nation Bahrain in its qualifying group.
The Afghan side enters the fixture after a defeat to Jordan in its opening match. The result against Tajikistan will shape Afghanistan’s position before its remaining group game against Bahrain.
